Toronto’s First Organic Spa Launches Chamomile Blue Eco- Organic Skincare
June 2008, Toronto, ON – After two years of research and development, Elixir Organic Spa, located in the heart of King West Village, has unveiled a brand new product line made with 100% certified organic ingredients. Chamomile Blue Eco-Organic Skincare sets a new standard in chemical-free, non-toxic and authentic organic beauty products.
Founded by Lynn Shulman in June 2003, Elixir Organic Spa offers spa services so pure you can literally eat all the ingredients. After experiencing a horrendous allergic reaction to an “organic” spa product, Shulman did extensive research and discovered that many toxic additives are lurking in conventional skincare products. “My main reason for opening Elixir was to give people an alternative to all the chemical products out there. Now with Chamomile Blue, we can offer our clients a high quality organic product made right here in Toronto”, says Shulman.
In a world where “organic” spas are popping up everywhere and the words “natural” and “organic” are meaningless, the term “Eco-Organic” sets Chamomile Blue apart as the first Canadian spa line made with 100% certified organic ingredients sourced from ethical, ecologically sustainable and fair trade companies. Furthermore, Shulman believes that “reuse” is even better than “recycle”. That’s why Elixir will give clients back one dollar for every glass bottle/jar they return, which will be sent back to the manufacturer, sterilized and used again and again with zero waste.
